Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
From www.mothersdaycelebration.com:
“Most countries including US, Australia, Canada and India celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May. Mothers Day came into being due to the efforts made by Ms Julia Ward Howe and Ms Anna Jarvis. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914.”
Because can you even imagine what a thrashing Wilson would have gotten from HIS mom if he hadn’t had the good sense to sign that thing as soon as it hit his desk?
So, an update: my new camera is on its way! Huzzah!Meanwhile, I took cell phone pics <cringe> of my Mother’s Day crafting efforts, which I think turned out quite nicely. But you can’t see them. Not yet. Not until my two Mom’s see them first. That’s just how it is, people.
In the meantime, I’m working on a couple stained glass commissions (photos of those WILL be posted promptly), wrangling RSS feeds with Twitterfeed, and experimenting with an idea for a new product line for my Etsy and Artfire shops. RadianceArt is evolving, slowly but surely.
So for now I’ll leave you with this: Super Powered Treasury Action!
you're so crafty!
